SO, WE'RE TURNING TO THE UNITED NATIONS.
The Australian government is failing us. While they drag their feet on climate action, we’re living through heatwaves, floods, bushfires, and rising seas.
We believe in a better, fairer future, and we’re here to make it happen.
We’re nine young people from across Australia, and with our legal team from Environmental Justice Australia, we’ve lodged a human rights complaint with the UN Special Rapporteur on Climate Change.
We want the Special Rapporteur to hold the Australian government to account for failing to protect our rights – to life, health, culture – and ensure a safe future for all of us.
